My latest mid-life crisis is really easy to handle:
It has a lot of get-up-and-go:
It's just so darned cute I can hardly stand it. Emma suggested it looks like a double-stuffed Oreo, so meet "H.R. DubbleStuff," my new ride:

Funny, my wife had exactly the same mid-life crisis. She has a dark blue 2005 Mini Cooper S with a Union Jack on the white roof. She calls it Nigel. It's really fun to drive. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours. :-)

Aw, it's so cute! I applaud you for not resisting the urge to spoil yourself just a teeny bit! Indulge! Enjoy!

Ron, NO! It was still there in the morning! Ralph - great idea and name. But (cough, cough), Irish gals can't consider a Union Jack on anything. BTW, did you move? Emma - we have also applied a nickname of Chessie which has nothing to do with Oreos but more with the Cheshire Cat . . .

I love it! Good for you and it's very adorable. LOL.
I got "my car" (ie: a car I love driving) when we moved out here to the east coast. An Audi A4. It's so exciting to get a car you really love driving. Makes humdrum days so much brighter.
Happy Driving!!!

Heh, yeah, I guess a Union Jack would be inappropriate for you. :-)
I haven't moved; we're still in the same place. But I started working in the city about a year and a half ago, so I don't get to spend much time on the shore these days. Tonight I hopefully put the finishing touches on the project that's been keeping me at work late since April, so maybe I'll get to enjoy the last few weeks of summer a bit.

A friend of mine has the same car/color (but an automatic). It's really cute. I wish I had one for our driving around the city, but needed something with a little more room for "stuff."
